Jenelle Evans Dragged Into Amber Portwood Controversy
Amber Portwood’s rise and fall has been heavily documented on the 16 & Pregnant spinoff, Teen Mom. She was engaged to her baby daddy, Gary Shirley, and they had a daughter, Leah. Unfortunately, things became combative and the relationship ended. Sadly, her addiction and mental health issues were cause for concern. Amber had a lot of rage and anger which was often displayed on the show. As for Gary, he met Kristina and they started a happy life, getting married and having a daughter. They also took custody of Leah as Amber was consistently struggling.
She went on to have a second child, James with Andrew Glennon but he has since taken custody and moved to California. Amber claims she wants a better relationship with Leah but has not taken the proper steps so her daughter wants to be adopted by her stepmom. Amber recently went live claiming Gary was a bad father and a slew of allegations against him. Her co-star, Jenelle Evans did a TikTok live and someone said they thought it was crazy Amber was allowed to stay on Teen Mom.
She could not comment, which was shown on @tm_chatter. However, she said she could read a comment. Someone asked how Jenelle felt about Amber Portwood’s allegations toward Gary Shirley. In Jenelle’s opinion, she feels some family matters should be kept private. There was a lot that she kept in the vault and it was only because she was protecting her children. She added things have only come out due to the court transcripts. So, she suggested that maybe Amber should be doing the same regarding Leah.
