It’s Doctor vs Doctor at the BAFTA Scotland Awards as the public decide their Favourite Scot on Screen

The BAFTA Scotland Awards take place on Sunday the 17th of November and this year it’s Doctor vs Doctor in one of the categories. The Audience Award: Favourite Scot on Screen is the only BAFTA Scotland Award the public vote on, and gives them the chance to name their favourite Scottish actor from the previous 12 months. As you might expect, starring in one of the most high profile shows on British television earns Ncuti Gatwa a place among the nominees. But he’s not the only Scottish Doctor with a nomination this year. Thanks to the 60th Anniversary specials airing in late November and early December, David Tennant qualifies under the Doctor Who banner as well.

BAFTA Scotland have also nominated Tennant for Best Actor at this year’s ceremony, for his role in There She Goes.
