The Fifteenth Doctor battles Daleks and Cybermen for the first time as Ncuti Gatwa joins the Doctor Who escape rooms
Escape Hunt has announced exciting updates to their hugely popular Doctor Who escape rooms, A Dalek Awakens and Worlds Collide. The games will now include an exclusive voiceover from Ncuti Gatwa’s Fifteenth Doctor along with the new sonic screwdriver.
The latest iteration of the sonic screwdriver plays a crucial role in helping players solve puzzles and complete challenges, whilst the Fifteenth Doctor is on hand to guide players throughout the experience as they step in and try to save the universe.
The first of the escape rooms opened in 2019, and since they’ve featured the voice of Jodie Whittaker as the Thirteenth Doctor guiding the teams. It’s that aspect of the experience, along with the sonic screwdriver prop players interact with, which have regenerated. The move keeps both A Dalek Awakens and Worlds Collide up to date with the current era.

A Dalek Awakens is set about the Starship Future, where a damaged Dalek is attempting to repair itself. The lives of all 10,000 passengers hang in the balance as the Doctor guides you to protect the starship’s life support systems and cut off the flow of power to the Dalek.
Meanwhile, Worlds Collide features an experiment in time gone wrong at ChronosCorp. The Earth is 60 minutes away from a Cyberman invasion from across the multiverse, unless the Doctor can help guide players to repair the time machine and put things right.
