Royal Drama: King Charles issued heartbreaking plea about warring Prince Harry and Prince William!
Prince Charles made a heartbreaking plea to his warring sons Prince William and Prince Harry when their relationship was at its lowest point, Harry has revealed
King Charles issued a heart-wrenching appeal to his feuding sons, Prince Harry and Prince William, as their relationship continued to sour.
The brothers were reportedly close during their early years, but their bond has been strained over time, especially after Harry and Meghan Markle’s departure from the UK in 2020.
After relocating to Montecito, California, the couple have participated in several high-profile interviews, revealing intimate details about the Royal Family. Harry has now disclosed a poignant plea made by Charles, who celebrates his 76th birthday today, during a heated discussion about Harry’s Royal exit.
In his explosive memoir ‘Spare’, Harry wrote: “After [William] he’d shut me down several times, he and I began sniping, saying some of the same things we’d said for months – years. It got so heated Pa raised his hand. ‘Enough’.”
“He stood between us, looking at our flushed faces: ‘Please, boys don’t make my final years a misery’. His voice sounded raspy, fragile. It sounded, if I’m being honest, old.”, reports Aberdeen Live.
Harry revealed that this moment reminded him of his grandfather, Prince Philip, and led him to take a closer look at his brother. He noticed William’s “alarming baldness” and his “famous resemblance” to Princess Diana, which Harry claimed was “fading with time”.
Harry added: “In some ways he was my mirror, in some ways he was my opposite. My beloved brother, my arch nemesis, how has this happened? “.
Royal commentator Jennie Bond has previously suggested that Diana would have “knocked the boys’ heads together and made them see sense”. Speaking to OK!
Magazine, she said: “I believe Diana would have sorted things out between the boys long ago. She would have understood both sides, having rebelled against the system herself.”
Meanwhile, Princess Diana’s biographer Andrew Morton shared on The Mirror’s podcast, now renamed ‘Pod Save the King’, that William and Harry’s mother would be “mortified” by their current situation.
He stated: “There is no question about it, she’d be mortified that William and Harry have got themselves into this emotional tangle. She always said to me on numerous occasions that Harry was William’s wingman, that he was the second boy born into the Royal Family.”
