Royal Drama Unfolds: ‘Old’ Prince Harry Returns as Separation from Meghan Intensifies!
The Duke of Sussex appeared in a knockabout comedy sketch earlier this month - one which showed the world that the 'old' Harry still exists.
The “old” Prince Harry appeared in a comedy sketch released earlier this month, claims The Sunday Times royal editor Roya Nikkhah.
In the new sketch, Harry played a nervous customer facing the prospect of getting his first tattoo from US singer Jelly Roll – who he wants to appear at the next Invictus Games. Filmed in the East Side Ink tattoo studio, “heavily tattooed” Jelly Roll tells the royal, 40, that he wants to give him a tattoo on the neck. After “tattooing” the royal, the camera pans to a close-up of Harry’s neck, showing a tattoo which says, “I Am Jelly Roll’. The ‘I Am’ is a tribute to Harry’s long-standing project, The Invictus Games.
Speaking on the podcast, ‘The Royals with Roya and Kate‘, Kate said: “It was just lovely, it was the same sort-of lovely, fun Harry tone.”
Agreeing with her co-host, Roya said: “It was, it was the old Harry I think we can say, the Harry that we used to know and love. He’s doing more of this stuff on his own.”
This appearances comes as Harry and his wife Meghan Markle are said to be going through a professional “separation” in their careers and work schedule. The pair, who now reside in California, have previously made many appearances alongside one another but have undertaken separate engagements over the past few months.
Despite this, the couple appear happier than ever, and Meghan has spoken in recent days about her excitement ahead of spending the Christmas season with their children, telling Marie Claire: “It gets better every year.”
