Prince William “got a kick” out of meeting with US President Donald Trump on Saturday – someone who has been described as his brother Prince Harry’s “arch enemy”, a royal expert has claimed.

In the absence of King Charles, William met with the US President in Paris over the weekend after they both attended the ceremonial reopening of Notre Dame cathedral following a devastating fire in 2019.

Kensington Palace stated that their 40-minute meeting involved conversations about a range of global issues but focused on the importance of the relationship between the UK and the US.

After being asked on GB News, royal expert Ingrid Seward stated that Harry wouldn’t have come up as a topic – but Prince William would likely have had some feelings deep down.

She told GB News: “I think it might have given William a bit of a kick to know that he was annoying his brother by sitting with his arch enemy…”

The US president is known to have a distaste for Harry, who has lived in the US since 2020, especially since his recent visa application concerns. Also recently speaking on GB News, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams implied that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will likely be “a little bit nervous” about his visa situation in light of Trump’s reunion with the Prince of Wales in Paris.
