Royal Clash: Prince Harry Hints at UK Return Despite Meghan’s Strong Opposition!
Since Prince Harry famously quit the firm there has been much speculation on whether the Duke would ever make a return to the UK.
The couple have been spotted attending a series of events with each other
One royal expert believes the door may be “left open” for Prince Harry to make a return to Britain as the duke and Meghan Markle appear to embark on more solo ventures.
Since Harry and Meghan famously quit the firm in 2020 and moved to the US the Duke has only made a few solo trips back to the UK and has not brought his whole family back since the late Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee in June 2022.
Despite stepping down as senior working members of the Royal Family The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have embarked on two tours this year – Nigeria in May and Colombia in August.
And more recently the couple have been spotted attending a series of events solo as they focus on their own professional endeavours.
This includes Meghan’s appearance just weeks ago at The Paley Center for Media gala with close friend Tyler Perry.
Prince Harry could make a return to the UK
Harry most recently visited London in October to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games but Meghan did not accompany him.
One royal expert has hinted that the apparent professional seperation could mean the “door being left open” for Harry to return back to home turf.
Royal biographer Andrew Lownie told The Sun: “Maybe the door is being left open for Harry to come back to Britain.”
GB News Cameron Walker added that the couples seperate engagements is not the “brand Sussex which we were led to believe would happen when they stood back as working members in 2020”.
A return to the UK would not be supported by Meghan if previous reports are anything to go by.
In Omid Scobie’s book, Endgame, the jounrnalist wrote that Meghan “never wants to step foot in England again” as she “never really felt at home” while in Harry’s home country.
Mr Scobie has a close relationship with the Sussexes and has previously been branded “Meghan’s mouthpiece.”
Prince Harry could be poised for return to the UK
Mr Lownie also spoke about Harry and Meghan’s plummeting popularity in the UK, as the couple now regularly rub shoulders with Prince Andrew near the bottom of the rankings.
He said: ”You don’t hear these scandals about some of the old members of the Royal family.
”It’s what I call the ‘rogue royals’ – it’s Harry and Meghan, Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.
”One of the tropes of the Crown somewhere is the division between the public service and private pleasure – and here, I’m afraid, people are putting private pleasure and profit ahead of their public service.”
