Public Outcry: “Too Out of Reach?” Meghan Markle Slammed Again as a ‘Ridiculous’ Duchess!
Meghan Markle debuted the Netflix trailer for her new cookery show but a royal expert had one thing to say regarding its content.
Meghan Markle’s new cookery show on Netflix was heavily criticised by a royal author, who claimed its premise is “laughable” and “so out of reach” to the general public.
The Duchess of Sussex appeared in a new trailer this week for her long-awaited show With Love, Meghan, which is set to hit the screens on January 15.
Meghan was seen smiling as she invited friends and famous guests – including actresses Mindy Kaling and Suits star Abigail Spencer – to a California estate, where she will share cooking, gardening and hosting tips.
The trailer dropped just a day after Meghan’s return to Instagram for the first time her marriage to Prince Harry
But the show was slammed by royal historian Dr Tessa Dunlop who said it will not resonate well with the public.

She told the Mirror: “It is all too easy to mock Meghan and the perfect world she presents in her new Netflix trailer: shiny (slightly) famous friends, effortfully fresh food, Insta-ready images.
“But worry not, apparently this is just what the Duchess does: in her words ‘I have always loved taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it.’ And no, she is not talking about Prince Harry, who this time is lucky enough to make an appearance alongside his influencer wife and her millennial chums.
“According to chef Roy Choi, ‘they are family now’, which doesn’t bode well given the Sussexes’ track record with their nearest and dearest. See, I told you it was easy to mock.”
But she added that for the vast majority of viewers, Meghan’s show and the lifestyle it promotes will feel “out of reach”.

A promotional synopsis of Meghan’s new show said: “This inspiring series, produced by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, reimagines the genre of lifestyle programming, blending practical how-tos and candid conversation with friends, new and old.
“Meghan shares personal tips and tricks, embracing playfulness over perfection and highlights how easy it can be to create beauty, even in the unexpected.
“She and her guests roll up their sleeves in the kitchen, the garden, and beyond, and invite you to do the same.”
