Meghan Markle ‘believes Netflix show is perfect revenge’ as she’s ‘determined to make it on her own without Prince Harry’

The Duchess of Sussex is focusing on solo work projects

Meghan Markle reportedly believes her new Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, is the “perfect revenge” on her critics.

With Love, Meghan will now premiere on the streaming giant in March – two months after its initial plan to premiere on January 15. Meghan decided to delay the premiere amid the devastating wildfires in her home state of California, which began on January 7.

The new series will see the Duchess of Sussex, 43, give viewers cooking, gardening and crafting tips and tricks. She’ll be joined by a string of celebrity guests throughout the eight episodes.

Meghan Markle thinks new Netflix show is ‘perfect revenge’ on haters

According to a source, Meghan is “riding high again and she’s so proud of this show”.

The insider told OK!: “Meghan feels this show will be the perfect revenge for all her doubters and haters. She is so confident it’s going to do well and she will get the accolades she deserves for it, which will finally shut some people up. She can’t wait.”

She is just determined to show that she can make it on her own without Harry and her titles.

They went on to claim that Meghan is focusing on solo work away from husband Prince Harry. However, the source insisted they will still do things together “when the time is right”.

The insider added: “Nobody can criticise her for cashing in on her royal connections because she doesn’t really mention them. She is just determined to show that she can make it on her own without Harry and her titles.”

The source said that some people think she’s only famous because of Harry but “that’s not true and she’s going back to her roots”.

Before meeting Harry, Meghan wrote a blog called The Tig and it contained similar aspects to her Netflix show.

Meghan has delayed the premiere of her new show amid the wildfires.

The fires have ripped through parts of Los Angeles, destroying homes and killing at least 24 people.

Last week, Meghan and Harry released a statement on the wildfires and encouraged people to help those in need.

Harry and Meghan release statement on wildfires

They said: “In the last few days, wildfires in Southern California have raged through neighbourhoods and devastated families, homes, schools, medical care centers, and so much more – affecting tens of thousands from all walks of life. A state of emergency has been issued.

“If a friend, loved one, or pet has to evacuate and you are able to offer them a safe haven in your home, please do. And be sure to check in with any disabled or elderly neighbours to see if they need help evacuating.”

The couple reportedly opened their Montecito home to loved ones who needed to evacuate their houses.
