Now, Meghan’s latest Netflix project, With Love, Meghan, has sparked fresh concerns within the royal family, reports claim.
Princess Kate, 43, reportedly feels uneasy about the dynamics and worries that Harry, her once close brother-in-law, could become overshadowed.

Meghan’s new lifestyle series will premiere on March 4. The duchess has delayed the premiere until March, instead of its original date of January 15, due to the LA wildfires. The series will see Meghan offering her favourite tips on cooking, gardening, and crafting.
Notably, Harry’s presence in the trailer is brief – lasting less than a second in the minute-and-a-half teaser.
A source has now claimed that this has concerned Kate.
It does ring alarm bells to see him completely playing second fiddle.
“Kate still really cares about Harry, so when she sees this rollout that is almost solely focused on Meghan, with Harry seemingly sidelined, it does worry her that he’s being left out,” an insider shared with Heat.
The insider claimed that while Kate understands the project is Meghan’s focus, the apparent sidelining of Harry raises deeper concerns about his identity and role in his new life.
“It does ring alarm bells to see him completely playing second fiddle,” the source continued. “It’s just so far from the Harry she and other royals have known. They can’t help see it as more proof that he’s becoming a different person, and that’s very sad because, in some ways, it feels like they’re losing him all over again.”
Since Prince Harry and Meghan stepped back from royal duties and moved to California in early 2020, their relationship with the royal family has become strained.
Kate once shared a strong bond with Harry. Due to this, she has reportedly been one of the few family members advocating for a reconciliation between Harry and his family.
But for Kate and other family members, Harry’s evolving public image and increasing distance from royal traditions are apparently “disorienting”.
“She worries that the more he’s pursuing this life in America, the more of a stranger he becomes,” the source said. “She feels he’s clearly been relegated to the backseat and that’s never been his style, so it does feel quite disorientating for Kate and the rest of his family.”
Prince Harry ‘appreciates that Kate cares’
Despite Kate’s concerns, Harry reportedly feels happy with his role of supporting Meghan.
Sources close to the Sussexes suggest that Harry and Meghan have made a conscious decision to keep their professional lives separate, with Meghan stepping into the spotlight for her latest project.
A source claimed that Harry “appreciates that Kate cares” and he knows she’s “coming from a genuine place”.

It will premiere on March 4, 2025.
They added that Harry has been “very clear that there’s no need to worry about him”. The source said Harry feels “very happy to take a supportive role and help Meghan shine”.
Despite the apparent rift, Harry reportedly remains hopeful about mending ties with his family.
The insider alleged that it’s the duke’s “greatest wish” that the family could all reconcile.
