Prince Andrew ‘snubbed’ by his own sister Princess Anne at royal event near his home: ‘He would have loved to have attended’
The Duke of York, 64, isn’t seen much in the spotlight after he stepped back from his royal duties in 2019. It came over his association with late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Now, Andrew rarely steps out with members of the royal family at events. And this apparently included a recent dinner at Windsor.

According to the MailOnline, the Princess Royal held a dinner at Windsor last Thursday in her role as Warden for Gordonstoun school.
Unlike Anne, Prince Andrew, alongside with his brothers King Charles and Prince Edward, attended the school as youngsters.
I’m sure the duke would have loved to have attended the dinner if he had been invited.
A source told the publication of Andrew not attending the gathering: “I’m sure the duke would have loved to have attended the dinner if he had been invited.”
Royal Insider has contacted reps for the Duke of York for comment.

Although Andrew has remained, mostly, out of the spotlight, he has still found himself making headlines in the last few weeks.
One story included Andrew’s association with an alleged ‘Chinese spy’.
Yang Tengbo, reportedly once a “close confidant” of Andrew, has denied being a spy. He became banned from the UK in 2023 on national security grounds.
Earlier in January, a rep for Andrew said he “ceased all contact” with the Chinese businessman following “advice” from officials.
Elsewhere this month, Prince Andrew was reported to police for allegedly using a false name to register a company.

Graham Smith, the CEO of Republic – an anti-monarchy campaign group – formally reported the incident to the police, reports claimed.
It comes a few years after the Duke of York faced a civil lawsuit in 2022 with Virginia Giuffre, an alleged victim of Epstein.
Giuffre accused the royal of sexual assault – allegations he has always denied. The case was settled outside of court.
Andrew paid an undisclosed sum to Giuffre. He lost his honorary military affiliations and royal patronages and has since remained out of the royal limelight.
Prince Andrew has continued to stay away from royal appearances, including Christmas celebrations at Sandringham last year.
King Charles hosted members of the royal family on the estate in December. More than 40 family members apparently attended.
However, Andrew instead spent the day at his Royal Lodge home in Windsor with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, reports claimed.
