Meghan Markle was warned she is “in big trouble” after the latest wave of negative press against her.
The Duchess of Sussex has been caught in the centre of a media storm in recent months after certain US outlets published a series of allegations regarding her behaviour towards staff. They followed previous allegations of a similar nature from when she was a working royal, which she has vehemently denied.
Meghan’s latest blow came from Vanity Fair, which published a scathing report with various claims against the Sussex couple, including one saying former members of staff, who used to work with the duchess when her deal with Spotify was on, had to allegedly take “breaks from work to escape scrutiny”, leave their job altogether or undergo “long-term therapy”. The Sussex couple have declined to comment on the latest claims, but sources close to them told the Times they find them”distressing”.
Now TalkTV host Kevin O’Sullivan made a damning comment about Meghan’s future in Hollywood, saying on his What Just Happened? show: “In showbiz, you can dodge, you can dive you can bob and weave and you can avoid some of the flack. If it happens once, you can maybe get out of it, if it happens twice, if you’re lucky you get out of it. If it happens three times, that’s three times unlucky. And frankly now, everyone in Hollywood thinks she’s [Meghan Markle a toxic bully, she’s in big trouble.”
Broadcaster Simon London, who usually defends the duchess, agreed and said: “Yeah, she is, I have to agree with you. When you take the overall story on Harry and Meghan and their onslaught to Hollywood, it’s a disaster story.”
