Meghan Markle’s Netflix Disaster: Desperate Bid for Popularity Falls Flat!

With Love, Meghan: Every desperate attempt Meghan Markle made at being relatable in Netflix show but failed at
Unfortunately, not every attempt at appealing to her viewers was very convincing. In fact, a few attempts missed the mark…

Meghan Markle makes With Love, Meghan Netflix launch
Meghan Markle has danced her way onto the Netflix homepage today, March 4, providing watchers with a glimpse into her picture-perfect and ever so detail oriented lifestyle. Her new show, With Love, Meghan, has already gleaned a glowing response on social media.
However, as many of us settle down to tune in and learn more about Meghan’s magical way of life, some may notice just how unattainable and ridiculously glamorous most of it can be.
But rest assured, the duchess did her best to stay humble and let her fans know that she isn’t so far removed from the rest of us.
Although, most of her attempts to appear relatable weren’t that, well… relatable!
A glimpse into Meghan’s glamorous lifestyle on Netflix cooking show
Tucked away in a stunning Montecito home, specifically rented for filming the show and in the company of her camera crew, Meghan has been showing viewers how she entertains her guests in the most aesthetically-pleasing and considerate way.
Meghan’s part-time, professional pad is a serene backdrop, surrounded by rolling mountains and a huge outside space, likely inspiring Meghan’s love for gorgeous floral arrangements that she features throughout the series.

Despite being accompanied by a slew of crew members and several experts in whatever she may try her hand at, be it cooking Mexican food or beekeeping, Meghan assures us that she is just as pushed for time as the next person.
In one instance, Meghan shows us how to put together a stunning arrangement of flowers, which she had hand-picked from her local farmers market.
Just like many of us would, she tootled on down to the market and got to work on pulling together a selection of flowers to ensure her bouquet was just right.
But one might notice, Meghan’s trip to the store wasn’t so relatable. In fact, she appeared to have the place to herself and a whole hall filled with buckets of flowers to choose from, without having to rifle through broken stems and forlorn petals, like most of us would in the floral section of our local supermarket.
Once she had returned to her stunning Californian abode, Meghan began putting together the arrangement and ensuring it looked just right.
It was here that she pointed out a key trick that helps her keep her flowers looking elegant, with less hassle.
Meghan Markle’s elegant lifestyle tips
Meghan informs us, whilst putting together the arrangement in a grand, ornamental vase: “I wouldn’t put it in a clear vase. Because, I don’t know who has time to change the water of flowers everyday.
“And there will be a day that you walk by and it won’t look so clean and beautiful and clear. So, to avoid that you kind of hide what is happening in there, to a certain extent.”

See, Meghan is just like the rest of us and leaves her flowers drooping in a vase with dirty water for days!
During the same episode, titled Surprise and Delight, Meghan takes a “moment to freshen up” before her girlfriends arrive.
The duchess doesn’t seem to simply spritz on some perfume, change into a cleaner pair of jeans or run a brush through her hair – no, no!
The next frame shows Meghan looking as airbrushed and refined as ever, not a hair out of place or any stray leaves stuck to her face after her flowery vocation.
Meghan can be seen wearing a chic all white ensemble, with a flowing skirt and perfectly curled hair to complement the look, her complexion refreshed and her makeup just as carefully applied as it was in previous scenes.
And of course, she doesn’t skimp on the accessories either and can be seen sporting an array of gold pieces including Princess Diana’s Cartier watch and what appears to be a diamond encrusted Ariel Gordon Hex Tennis Bracelet.
You might be thinking: “Gosh, how is Meghan so insanely talented at everything?”
Never fear, the duchess insists she does have some things she isn’t so great at and doesn’t even enjoy some of them so much. Like baking, for example!

With Love, Meghan unrelatable moments you might have missed
Meghan tells viewers that she isn’t the greatest fan of baking. She says during episode one: “Baking is not my favourite thing, but I will do it for one of my favourite people.”
Then, in the same breath, Meghan explains that she is about to simply whip up a three-tiered cake made of honey she harvested from her very own hive and later frosted with homemade buttercream. Oh, and not to mention, drizzled with a jar of preserves that, of course, she made herself!
We dread to think how good Meghan would be at her favourite pastime!
It seems, as the series unfolds, we start to realise just how opulent Meghan’s dreamy lifestyle is.
Meghan’s pal and makeup artist Daniel alludes to the fact that when he stays with Meghan, he has his very own cottage to inhabit!

Daniel quips during episode one after Meghan has made the pair their very own batch of bespoke candles: “I don’t want to go home!’
At this, Meghan replies: “You don’t have to!”
Daniel then states: “I want to go back to my cottage at your house!”
Surely some aspect of With Love, Meghan has to be more affordable or relatable, right?
How Meghan Markle welcomes guests
Perhaps, the duchess pops the kettle on and has a good old cup of tea ready for her friends when they come over?
Wrong! Meghan instead cracks open a bottle of Billecart champagne, worth at least £70 a pop, and serves over handmade citrus flavoured ice cubes in the shape of roses!

Maybe Meghan cuts down her grocery bill by using shop-bought hummus, as she later suggests viewers use instead of going to the trouble of making their own from scratch?
Maybe that is so, but one thing for sure is that Meghan’s life as wife to a prince from the world’s most famous royal family is very different to how she grew up.

Meghan’s guidance when ‘Elevating the Everyday’
During episode seven, dubbed Elevating the Everyday, Meghan rocks a casual outfit made up of jeans and an oversized sweatshirt whilst picking fruit and vegetables for a personally curated harvest basket to gift to her friend, founder of best-selling skincare brand Tatcha, Vicky Tsai.
It is here that Meghan reflects on her roots, reminding viewers that she comes from humble beginnings despite her fortune now.
Explaining why it is so important to “share what you have,” Meghan says: “We don’t all have a garden like this, I fully recognise that.

“I didn’t grow up with a garden like this.”
Meghan then dismisses excuses as to why such extravagance might not be accessible to most, insisting: “But you do have a farmers market and you can definitely find something.”
Well, what do you think? Do you relate to Meghan Markle?
