Royal Secrets Exposed: Prince Harry’s Lawyer Reveals His True Personality and Biggest ‘Disappointment’!

In January, the Duke of Sussex settled a court case with News Group Newspapers (NGN). Harry brought legal action against NGN over allegations of unlawful information gathering by journalists and private investigators. Along with this, he also alleged that executives covered it all up.
NGN agreed to pay “substantial damages”. It also issued an apology for “serious intrusion” by The Sun between 1996 and 2011.

Prince Harry lawyer explains duke’s ‘passion’ amid court case
Throughout the legal battle, David Sherborne represented Prince Harry.
In a new interview on the News Agents podcast, David opened up about working with Prince Harry, 40.
He said: “I mean, it’s very clear, whatever you may think of Harry, he is absolutely clear and focused on what he wants to achieve. And passionate about doing so. I admire that.”
He wasn’t interested in the financial compensation that would come with it.
David added: “He wasn’t interested in the financial compensation that would come with it. He wasn’t interested in personally having his day in court.”
The lawyer said he felt “disappointed” that he wasn’t able to have a trial.
Speaking about Harry again, David said: “[Harry] believes that’s his role, his public duty, to represent people who don’t have the voice that he has.
“That’s what he wanted to achieve, and he did achieve it.”

Prince Harry’s statement on court case settlement
In January, Harry spoke out about the court settlement. A statement released on behalf of Harry read: “In a monumental victory today, News UK have admitted that The Sun, the flagship title for Rupert Murdoch’s UK media empire, has indeed engaged in illegal practices.
“The truth that has now been exposed is that NGN unlawfully engaged more than 100 private investigators over the last 16 years on more than 35,000 occasions.
“This happened as much at The Sun as it did at the News of the World, with knowledge of all the Editors and executives.”
Meanwhile, in a statement, NGN said: “NGN also offers a full and unequivocal apology to the Duke of Sussex for the impact on him of the extensive coverage and serious intrusion into his private life. As well as the private life of Diana, Princess of Wales, his late mother. In particular, during his younger years.”
In addition, Prince Harry’s uncle Charles Spencer – the brother of Harry’s late mother Princess Diana – spoke out. He said Diana would feel “proud” of her youngest son’s win.
He added on Instagram: “It’s wonderful that Harry also secured an apology for his mother – she would be immensely touched by this, I’m sure.”
