Meghan Markle’s Netflix Future Sealed: CEO’s Shocking Statement Revealed!

Meghan Markle’s new lifestyle series on Netflix has been met with a mix of positive and negative reviews.

Netflix’s co-CEO has broken his silence on Meghan Markle’s future with the streaming giant following the release of her eight-part lifestyle series. ‘With Love, Meghan’ was released on March 4 but has been hit with a mixture of praise and brutal criticism.

Despite several negative reviews, the series has been renewed for a second season. Now Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos has broken his silence on Meghan’s future with the firm in a new interview. Speaking extremely highly of Meghan Mr Sarandos said she has been “underestimated” by many adding the public are “fascinated” with the Duchess of Sussex.

He told Variety: “I think Meghan is underestimated in terms of her influence on culture.

“When we dropped the trailer for the “Harry & Meghan” doc series [in 2022], everything on-screen was dissected in the press for days.

“The shoes she was wearing sold out all over the world. The Hermès blanket that was on the chair behind her sold out everywhere in the world. People are fascinated with Meghan Markle. She and Harry are overly dismissed.”

He also admitted that Netflix has a stake in her lifestyle brand As Ever, which offers many of the items featured in her show from crêpe mix, flower sprinkles and jam.

“We’re a passive partner in Meghan’s company, and it’s a big discovery model for us right now,” Mr Sarandos added.

Mr Sarandos’ comments just days after the backlash Meghan faced over her St. Patrick’s Day waffles. The mum of two uploaded a series of videos to her Instagram story showing herself and her children making green waffles in aid of the celebration.

In the videos uploaded, Meghan can be seen whisking a green pancake mix with Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3, as music plays in the background.

Although not confirmed, the waffle maker could be one the couple was gifted by Queen Elizabeth II shortly after they moved to Montecito.

However, some eagle-eyed Royal fans noticed the waffles the duchess photographed and posted didn’t look like the ones that she made in her waffle maker as the design on the waffle was different.

Nevertheless, Mr Sarandos has made it crystal clear that he’s a fan of Meghan, which suggests their partnership may continue for years to come.
