Meghan Markle savaged over cypher as Duchess blasted over ‘ruthless’ move
EXCLUSIVE: Meghan Markle used her royal monogram in a new handwritten note to an influencer and a royal expert was critical of it after her previous “ruthless” move.
Meghan Markle has been heavily criticised for including her monogram featuring a crown in a handwritten note sent to an influencer who blasted her new Netflix show. Influencer Amanda Hirsch received a personalised handwritten message from the Duchess of Sussex after criticising her for not appearing “authentic” in her new Netflix series, With Love, Meghan.
After being made aware of Amanda’s post, Meghan sent her a note, which read: “Dear Amanda, I heard you were feeling scared. Don’t be. This is the fun part – let’s enjoy it”. She signed off with: “As ever, Meghan.” Meghan has previously used her monogram with a crown to sign off letters despite stepping down as a senior working royal in 2020.

Now, a royal expert has criticised the Duchess for her move and accused her of still holding on to “links with royalty”.
Veteran royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told the Express: “Meghan’s letter which attempts to show off her skills at calligraphy, involves her drawing her monogram in a letter to an influencer who has been critical of her cookery series With Love, Meghan.
“Normally, no one would object. However, it was the ruthless way Meghan and Harry trashed the royal family for money and yet so obviously value links with royalty that is hypocritical.”
Mr Fitzwilliams also suggested that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will likely have their Netflix contract renewed this year.

He explained: “If Meghan actually writes to all of those who have panned her show, she’d be at it for ages!
However, Netflix’s Chief Executive Officer Ted Sarandos has been complimentary about her and this indicates that, as Netflix is also linked with her As Ever products, their cooperation in some form is likely to continue when their contract expires.
“Whether it deserves to is quite another matter.”
