The American-Australian campaigner, 41, was involved in a crash recently – the effects of which have led to doctors giving her just days left to live.
Virginia Giuffre has ‘four days to live’ after car crash
Taking to Instagram, Virginia shared a heartbreaking update with her 6,000-plus followers.
The mother-of-three shared a snap of herself lying in a hospital bed, looking heavily bruised.
I’ve gone into kidney renal failure, they’ve given me four days to live.
“This year has been the worst start to a new year, but I won’t bore anyone with the details but I think it’s important to note that when a school bus driver comes at you driving 110km as we were slowing for a turn that no matter what your car is made of it might as well be a tin can,” she wrote.
“I’ve gone into kidney renal failure, they’ve given me four days to live, transferring me to a specialist hospital in urology. I’m ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time, but you know what they say about wishes.”

Followers send support to Virginia after car accident
Her caption continued.
“[Bleep]in one hand and wish in the other and I guarantee it’s still going to be [bleep] at the end of the day. Thank you all for being the wonderful people of the world and for being a great part of my life. God bless you all, Virginia,” she said.
Many of her followers took to the comment section to send their love and support.
“Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear this news and to see such an inspirational, strong woman in such a state. You are a survivor! Keep you in my prayers,” one commented.
“Nooo, oh my gosh. This can’t be happening. Not after you’ve come so far. Where is your family?? I thought they were all supportive during these last hard years with the courts. I can’t believe you are just going to be gone. I’m sending so many prayers for you to survive. You can’t go now. Not after you finally won,” another said.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Ms Giuffre told Sky News‘ US partner network in a statement: “Virginia has been in a serious accident and is receiving medical care in the hospital.
“She greatly appreciates the support and well wishes people are sending.”

Virginia Giuffre vs Prince Andrew
Back in 2021, Virginia Giuffre sued Prince Andrew in a US civil lawsuit, accusing him of sexual assault. She claimed that the Duke of York – now 65 – had had sex with her when she was 17.
She alleged that she had been trafficked by convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein – a former close friend of Andrew’s.
Prince Andrew has always vehemently denied the claims and has never been charged with any criminal offences.
However, in 2022, Prince Andrew and Virginia had come to an out-of-court settlement. As part of the settlement, the prince accepted no liability and has maintained he did nothing wrong.
The settlement was reportedly approximately £12million. The sum reportedly included a “substantial donation to Ms Giuffre’s charity in support of victims’ rights”.
