Prince William and Princess Kate were considered “out of place” after this action…

It comes after the news that the Wales family have welcomed new puppies. Their Cocker Spaniel Orla gave birth last month.
While many sent their congratulations and well-wishes, Peta’s Vice President of Programmes Elisa Allen said: “The Prince and Princess of Wales should know that shelters here and worldwide are overflowing with puppies desperate for a second chance at a loving home, and that churning out a litter in the midst of this animal homelessness crisis is staggeringly out of touch.

“If William is going to lead, he might well take a lesson from King Charles and Queen Camilla, who have chosen to adopt from a shelter rather than contribute to the problem.”
Royal Insider has contacted reps for William for comment.
On Saturday (June 21) a new photo of William was released on his social media channels for his 43rd birthday. He’s seen alongside Orla and three of her four puppies. It was posted alongside a message signed “with love” from Kate and their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. “The puppies” also ‘signed’ it with a paw print emoji.
George, Charlotte and Louis were ‘very excited’ over puppies
At the time of the puppies’ birth, William and Kate’s children George, Charlotte and Louis were reportedly left “very excited”. A source told The Sun: “We always thought the patter of tiny feet in the Wales’ household had ended, so the sound of tiny paws will have to do.
He might well take a lesson from King Charles and Queen Camilla.
“Everyone loves a new royal baby news and so new royal puppies run very close. Everyone is very excited, not least the three children, who adore Orla, and Lupo before.”

Orla has been part of the family since 2020. Kate’s brother James Middleton gave her to William and Kate shortly before their previous dog, Lupo, died aged eight.
The pup hasn’t often been seen by the public. However, she was part of a video released last September to update well-wishers about Kate’s cancer. In the video, she is seen running alongside the children and relaxing on the beach with her family.

The puppies have joined a growing group of royal pets
The dog and her new puppies aren’t the only current royal canines, however. Queen Camilla adopted Moley from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home following the death of one of the dogs she shared with King Charles, Beth, in November last year.
A Buckingham Palace spokesperson said in a statement in May: “Meet mischievous Moley, The Queen’s new much-loved canine companion who was recently adopted from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home where Her Majesty is Patron.”
Earlier this year, it was reported that King Charles had got a lagotta romagnolo called Snuff.
Meanwhile, the late Queen Elizabeth II was known for her love of Corgis. She kept over 30 during her lifetime. After her death in 2022, her surviving dogs were adopted by her son, Prince Andrew, and his ex-wife, Sarah, Duchess of York. They live together at Royal Lodge in Windsor.
