Ashely Jones and her husband, Bar Smith, have shared a tumultuous relationship. The pair legally married in January 2022. However, only a year later, Ashley announced on Twitter that she was “single.” Later, she reveals to Teen Mom that Bar had been unfaithful. Things quickly took a dramatic turn when Bar was arrested for kidnapping Ashley on July 7. In a surprising development, Ashely filed for divorce on Thursday, August 1, in Nevada.

While Bar resides in California, he is currently behind bars in Nevada due to his felony charge. In the court documents, Ashley revealed that Bar and she separated in March, and their daughter, Holly, has been living with her since July 2022. According to Starcasm, the Teen Mom is seeking full custody of their child and is not requesting spousal support.

She also requested no visitation for Bar in her filing, explaining he is “in jail under further notice.” She added that Bar is in jail on multiple felony charges, “awaiting trial for a DV case against myself.” The court documents further state that given Bar’s existing probation for gun charges in California and his current serious charge in Nevada, Ashley fears his decision-making skills are “very questionable.”

After Teen Mom Dad Bar’s arrest in Nevada, Ashley confirmed her safety, but her troubles continued. In July, she got into a heated exchange with Bar’s brother Romell Vaughn online. Romell defended Bar, saying, “Free my brother off them b—- a– charges,” adding that the fans aren’t aware of the full story. Ashley responded sharply, accusing Romell of behaving like Bar and challenging him to “crash out” to join Bar in jail.

Romell hit back with a comment about Ashley’s past drug use and reminded her of the time they helped her when she had nowhere to go. Ashley fired back, stating the incident was years ago, and she has been lending him money since. She blasted Romell, saying, “But I see it must have been the same coke that had you trying to eat my c—- behind your brother’s back.
