‘Teen Mom’ Star Tyler Baltierra Speaks Out on Controversial Photos: ‘No Other Intentions!’
Tyler Baltierra Denies Posting ‘Thirst Trap’ Photos
Teen Mom fans have been slamming Tyler Baltierra for his inappropriate “thirst trap” photo on social media. Now, the MTV star has addressed the backlash, clapping back at the “haters” online. Here is what Tyler is saying, plus a look at the spicy mirror selfie.
Tyler Baltierra Faces Backlash After Inappropriate Selfie
The Teen Mom star posted a mirror selfie on Instagram Stories earlier this week. In the snapshot, he is seen in tight blue underwear, showing off his progress from the gym. Over the “family jewels,” Tyler blurred the image a big and placed an emoji on top.
Over the photo, he wrote, “This bulk be bulking!” He was referring to the progress he’s made at the gym recently. He almost immediately faced criticism from his followers and other people online.
Shortly after he shared the picture, he followed up with a second Story on Instagram. He wrote, “Just so everyone is aware, my wife @catelynnmtv fully endorses me posting my workout progress lol she’s proud of me! idk what the difference is between every other guy/fitness influencer posting their progress & me (beside them all looking a lot better & being in an uncovered speedo.”
Following a few laughing and shrugging emojis, he continued, “But that’s about it! I even covered myself with a funny emoji. Like come on guys, let loose a little!”
Teen Mom fans aren’t buying it though. Several people took to Reddit to discuss the photo and the explanation that followed.
“Idk any man who posts ‘workout progress’ photos with a boner lol get real Tyler,” one person started the conversation. Another person agreed in the comments, “The passive bullsh*t is so idiotic and lame.”
A third wondered if Tyler is considering himself a fitness influencer now. They wrote, “No other fitness influencers post pictures with emojis covering their junk because no one else is trying to draw attention to their junk.” A fourth person joked, “Influencing me to scroll past quickly.”
Several other people pointed out that most influencers and guys don’t pose in their underwear unless they are trying to get attention from women. “Tyler is full of it and cate is an idiot,” one person stated.
