Latest Drama: Harry and Meghan’s ‘disastrous’ move left TV dreams ‘d@ad in the water’
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were warned about their Netflix contract ending after their latest “disastrous” move, according to a TV commentator.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s latest business move did not go down well with a royal commentator
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been severely criticised by a TV commentator who claimed the couple’s career as producers “has fallen like a horse at the first hurdle”.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have released their fourth project for Netflix this month – a docuseries titled Polo, which follows elite global players on and off the field.
Harry and Meghan serve as executive producers of the new show and also briefly appear in it.
TalkTV host Kevin O’Sullivan was particularly critical of the couple’s latest “disastrous” move during the latest episode of his What Just Happened programme and said: “Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s career as TV producers has fallen like a horse at the first hurdle and now, their $100million [contract with Netflix] is all but over.
“After the disastrous release of their big new Netflix series Polo, the chances of the streaming giant renewing their gruesome twosome’s lucrative contract are virtually zero. Their naive dream of turning into titans of the TV industry is dead in the water. No happy Hollywood ending for them.”
