Meghan Markle Breaks Silence on Prince Harry ‘Divorce’ Rumors With a Bold Response!

Meghan has announced an exctiting new project

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have looked seriously loved-up in recent months, but the couple have faced intense rumours about their marriage as they forge their own work paths

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been spotted seriously loved-up over the past few weeks, both at the Invictus Games and in snippets of their home life posted on Instagram by the Duchess. But their cosy display is very different to the months of ‘professional separation’ that we saw from the couple before returning together to the spotlight.

Before the couple travelled to Canada for the Invictus Games last month, they’d hardly been seen together for months, leading to fierce speculation about the state of their marriage. Rumours got so wild that Prince Harry was forced to shut them down in an interview in December, where he joked about the ‘trolls’.

He said: “Apparently we’ve bought or moved house 10, 12 times. We’ve apparently divorced maybe 10, 12 times as well. So it’s just like, what? It’s hard to keep up with, but that’s why you just sort of ignore it. The people I feel most sorry about are the trolls.”

Harry and Meghan Markle on set With Love, Meghan

And now, as Meghan ramps up her exciting work projects with a second season of her Netflix show, With Love Meghan, confirmed and a brand new podcast, a source close to the couple has reacted to the questions around the couple’s marriage. An insider close to the Duchess’ TV projects has dismissed the rumours about marital issues, branding them “exaggerated”, according to the Daily Mail.

Meghan’s focus appears to be on her professional trajectory outside of the Harry and Meghan power duo image that many have come to know. And while Harry reportedly isn’t set to appear on her new podcast, seemingly keeping a lower profile while his wife enjoys the spotlight, royal expert Jennie Bond tells the Mirror that the couple are “very much in love and in harmony”.

The former BBC royal correspondent explained how the couple’s recent appearance at the Invictus Games in Canada showed them looking as loved-up as ever. “I have seen absolutely no evidence that they are unhappy with one another. Indeed they have always seemed very much in love and in harmony,” she said.

Meghan’s Netflix series, which debuted earlier this month, has already sparked its own share of controversy. The eight-episode show, which revolves around Meghan’s personal lifestyle tips, has received scathing reviews, with one critic calling it ‘gormless’.

However, public relations expert Mark Borkowski suggested that the negative reviews may be part of a deliberate move on Meghan’s part to generate curiosity and attention. He told Hello!: “This isn’t an identity crisis, it’s a business model. The perpetual reinvention, the strategy vagueness – it’s all by design.”

The pro further added: “The more unpredictable she is, the harder it is to take her down. She’s not trying to be Goop; she’s trying to be a mystery. The product she’s selling? Endless curiosity about Meghan Markle. Maybe she’s not losing control of her narrative, maybe we are.”

The mixed reviews haven’t broken the Duchess’s spirit however, she recently shared Instagram stories showing fans recreating recipes from the show, praising their efforts and adding: “Love seeing how inspired you are by With Love, Meghan. Keep up the beautiful work!”

Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of Confessions of a Female Founder podcast, as it promises to shift the narrative away from her personal life and towards inspiring stories of women who have succeeded in their own journeys.
